Roles

The following roles can be assigned to BatteryDB users.

Organization user roles

One of the following roles can be assigned to a user on joining an organization. Users can have different permissions in different organizations.

• Viewer - Read access to most resources.

• Member - Write access to most resources.

• Owner - Full access to all resources in an organization.

Site-level user roles

This feature is not available for our cloud BatteryDB product.

For self-hosted deployments, users may be granted site-level access that spans all organizations.

• Viewer - Read access to most resources across all organizations.

• Member - Write access to most resources across all organizations.

• Owner - Full access to all resources across all organizations.
